Bhopal Gas Tragedy And BJP

JUNE 7, 2010, marks a milestone in the history of Indian democracy. On that day a trial court in Bhopal pronounced its verdict in the case relating to the gas leak from the Union Carbide plant in the Madhya Pradesh capital on the night of December 2-3, 1984. The world's worst industrial disaster, killed at least 20,000 people and left thousands maimed and helpless. Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Mohan P. Tiwari read out the nearly 100 pages of his judgment, convicting seven accused, in two hours.

One should understand the two most important issues:
1) Whether the Bhopal plant was a defective one run without reasonable care, which resulted in the leakage of poisonous gas
2) Whether the accused were guilty of not informing the local people about the remedial precautions

Before pointing Anderson one should point finger on then chairman of Union Carbide India Limited and our very own Mr. Keshu Mahindra. Anderson was an outsider but Keshu Mahindra should had done something for the Indian nationals as he was also one of them. After doing such a disastrous thing along with W. Anderson he was nominated by the BHARTIYA JANTA PARTY (BJP) for the Padma-bhushan (India's third highest civilian honour) in 2002 when Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the prime-minister of India. This is what one should expect from BJP. They were giving the honour to an accused, what a true nationalist party they are!

And in Gujarat where the BJP goverment is headed by their pseudo-superhero Narendra Modi, had signed a deal with the Dow Chemicals (which is the parent company of the Union Carbide) in 2008. So, the only problem I have is the justice has been demanded by a party which is not capable of providing justice to those who had been killed in Gujarat. The party which is responsible for Babri Mosque demolition, Kandhar incident where they are forced by some terrorists to free their colleagues.I m not saying that congress is not responsible. They are responsible because they are not able to provide sufficient compensation from the union carbide and giving money from their own. They are responsible because they are making efforts for providing the justice to the victims.

Extradition of Anderson will not give anything since he is no more an employee of Union Carbide and secondly what will you get by trialling a 90 years old person, which will take another 20-30 years by the time he will gone. The government of India should move from this incident and do those things which will benefit the people of Bhopal, which they are doing now.

Shiv Sena & Bombay oops...MUMBAI!!!

Can India survive the likes of Sena, Bajrang Dal, & VHP? Well, that's the question everyone is trying to answer in Davos. For me Shiv Sena can never be a political party. Shiv Sena is just Like a reality show which aims to increase the TRPs. And the Indian news channels are making fool of every indians by airing it on national TV again for the same reason, TRP.We should not encourage these kind of stuffs.

NOW come back to senas sainik and their mindless jingoism, they are not an IAS or IPS and not even properly employed so as we say in north India "khali dimag shaitan ka ghar". They have nothing to do & for showing that they are also a part of the society they indulges in these kind of activities with some ignition from none other then THE THACKERAYs.

Shiv Sena is founded by a cartoonist Balasaheb Thackeray having the ideology of 'sons of soil'. It is evident how things has changed considerably from sons of soil to sons of Maharashtra & in particular Bombay oops...Mumbai again sorry for that. I am emphasizing on Mumbai though I am more familiar with the later one because who knows I might be the next target. Well anyone can be their target as long as they are out of power. For achieving that they can demolish a mosque, can target north Indians, south Indians , east Indians, & west Indians which includes their very own Maharashtra.
